Today’s blog is going to be linked to a new series I will be doing. Where I will be choosing my current top 5 of different products categories i.e. Face, eyes, lips, brushes, skin care ect.
This one will be about my top 5 face makeup products. A mix of higher and lower end products hopefully to suit everyone’s budget.
So let’s get into it! They won’t be in any particular order as I love them all hence why they’re in my top 5 👌🏼😍.
£3.99 home bargains also available at most drugstores
This is a new discovery for me but it’s already up there with the best! This product is a steal at only £3.99 for 50ml of product. This is great for those like me with dry skin, it’s super hydrating and provides a smoothing effect on the skin. A beauty must try! Its got a lovely scent but may be over powering for some but it smells like freshly washed cotton to me.
£27 Debenhams beauty
Now this may seem expensive for some but you get what you pay for! This full coverage foundation is flawless and light on the skin to say the results it produces I use the shade light 42, as a pale gale I always find it difficult to find a match but this range covers all skin tones!! Worth splashing out a bit to get this amazing product.
£4.19 Superdrug also available at boots
as a self confessed make up hoarder I have tried many concealer in my time from high end to £1. However I still can’t find one that beats this one 😍👌🏼 it’s super creamy and covers any blemish you have. Also as a pale Gail I find it hard to find one that isn’t yellow/orange this is just perfect and lasts all day!
£39 beauty bay or cult beauty Now this is yet another “higher” end product. However there are dupes for this that are more affordable such as the nyx palette or the make up revolution palette. The pigment is so rich and the tones of this palette suit my complexion.
$40 from abh website (postage can be steep) but I feel it’s worth it, works out about £10 per highlight.
Last but certainly not least the moonchild glow kit 😍👌🏼. This is my favourite highlight palette by far 💕 it’s amazingly pigmented and colourful for all looks you want to create. Well worth the money if you ask me. They are super buttery and blendable.
